Demonstrating our commitment to quality and the environment, Trio Offset has gained ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems (EMS), PEFC FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification.
Our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, secured in September 2009, are valid for three years.

ISO 9001-2008 A standard to ensure organisations use consistent business processes for quality management systems. These include monitoring, recording, checking and facilitating quality improvements. View certificate (PDF)
Our FSC and PEFC certifications, secured in January 2009, are valid for five years. PEFC certification assures buyers of wood and paper products that they are promoting the sustainable management of forests. “Across the UK there is a growing movement towards chain of custody certification, in line with the Government’s timber procurement policy, increased public awareness and stronger demand.”
Our Carbon Smart Silver Award - Trio has for the second year had it’s CO2e emissions measured by the CarbonSmart organisation, and is pleased to announce that it has retained it’s certification, in fact going from the CarbonSmart Blue Award to the Silver Award.
Trio Offset has decreased their emissions of CO2e by 25% in absolute terms over the past year and when related to revenues they have decreased by 12%, both these figures are far beyond the target set by the OECD.
In our effort to reduce the carbon footprint we promise to make every effort to:
- reduce the amount of
non-hazardous waste sent to landfill
- minimise pollution and our use of
materials, supplies and energy
- use process-less plates to
eliminate chemical and water usage
- cut ink and paper waste on all
printing processes
- Focus on recycling and
environmentally-friendly paper from managed and sustainable forests, and
consider Carbon Footprinting certification.
